You’re scaring the hell out of Larry, you know. Our parents mortality always makes us contemplate our own.

His heart may be in the right place, but it wasn’t in the right mood.

Sounds like what happened to my grandpa, he was hauling bundles of shingles up on a roof and his heart rate never went above 40. He had a monitor on at the time. Next stop, pacemaker city.

Good to know gramps can still deliver a line.

Bradycardia – easily corrected with a pacemaker that will have a battery that will last for over 10 years

You can be rebuilt…..we have the technology…..and you have good insurance….seriously that is a really bad condition…. glad it be fixed.

Ouch. Yes, it doesn’t get any easier as we get older. A good sense of humor can help lighten some of the problems of aging, but it does nothing for the hole left when your parents are gone. I grieve with thee, for those of us who are adult orphans.

Getting old isn’t for wimps.
