And this is the problem with business communication today, especially on technical topics. Try to explain anything the least bit complex and nobody reads it because it’s more than 280 characters.
I’ve been an all-fingers touch typist since the days of manual typewriters. Meanwhile, my fingers — and especially my thumbs — are wide, and hitting the right “keys” on my phone is error-prone, even when I do it slowly.
I’m with you, Gammaguy. I’m so very glad I took typing as an elective and became a touch-typist. (Though, unfortunately, not always a completely accurate “touch-typist”.)

I prefer texts too, since email has become the new “junk mail”. But lately, I’m getting a lot of junk texts too. Lots of scam-related links. >sigh<

It’s harder to retrieve old texts and separate them into folders than it is with emails.

I can type an email much faster than a text.

I have no problem with touch typing. I use voice with the Text and clean it up afterwards.
