Gee, potholes where there are no roads.

Years ago in Philadelphia a bus hit a pothole and broke an axle, backing up traffic on a busy downtown street. A traffic reporter described the event as a bus “falling into a pothole”, which unleashed hours of jokes about Philly potholes. My favorite was the announcement of a new bus route from one end of the pothole to the other.

And just think…In millions of years of water erosion it will become the “Grand Pothole”.

This must be the future location for Mobile, Alabama.

Best to take your wheel around that pothole.

A novel idea for revenue generation in Rhode Island!

I see…going by the old “when life gives you lemons” saying…

In Ottawa our potholes have potholes!

Draw a couple of pictures in that hole and it will be a tourist attraction within a year.

I now know where B.C. lives. Prehistoric Vermont.

And put in businesses down there. Like “Hole Foods”!

I’ve got a street in my hometown we could do this with.

Falls City Oregon effectively did that. Had so many potholes the sold them to people.

Here in India, it’s claimed our potholes are visible from the moon! :D

That pothole is still in Columbia, MO. It is asexual and has reproduced 1000’s of new potholes. This city, and county, is very “green” minded so they wont destroy any of the potholes. So we will soon be one giant pothole. Oh, wait, I believe we already are.

In Illinois they’d just figure out a new tax and then use the money to fill it in…eventually.

Ironically, I watched a flick last night about the Cancun Yucatan version, cenotes and their blind gigantic sharks. Thank goodness I’m SCUBA certified for Advanced Open Water and know why it’s wrong, just plain wrong, that one sweetie-pie chose to ignore why.

Sounds like Missouri roads – potholes are blooming everywhere – must be (broken) Spring.

Maybe they can see one form if Yellowstone caldera explodes. it would curb the AGW for awhile before the atmosphere clears again. Like Mt Toba did wiping out an advanced civilizations then. Nearly killing off tigers and humans among other plants and animals.

There are those that can and will find a way to profit from any given situation.
