At least he’s admitting that they’re both jerks. There’s hope, still.

I sure hope they’re calling each other!

Rude society! Period!

I will sometimes “butt into” the conversation and when people give me a dirty look I respond, “OH! I’m sorry. I didn’t know that was supposed to be a PRIVATE conversation.”

Cue the “ Dueling Banjos” theme … very loudly.

Three times in the past few months, I have been in a doctor’s waiting room and overheard two women and one man telling the person on the other end of the phone call either their or their children’s social security number. After the first two telling me very sternly to mind my own business when I said something like “If I was a bad person, I’d be able to steal your identity now.”, I gave up letting people know I could hear them.

It’s hard to concentrate on your own conversation while trying to listen to the other one.

It can be fun sometimes. Just yesterday I overheard a young lady setting up…..shall we say a “date”

In the good old days you went into a phone booth, which preserved your privacy, and everyone else’s sanity.

Maybe we should provide “cones of silence” on every corner for the same purpose!

Oh, just a sec,that was you wasn’t it?

Holding a conversation in public, is inviting the public to participate.

Speaking to a telemarketer?

tell him to hang up and text you instead.

It annoys me when people are facetiming in public and I happen to be right in the frame as I walk behind or next to the person.
