Person on a really tight budget: I’m having a staycation.

In the fictional world, they can still travel. Corona doesn’t work here.

As long as there’s a pool, you’re golden. Kid-wise.

Ack! A cruise!

It will have to be an imaginary cruise. But for a similar experience you could go to the supermarket and shake hands with everyone.

Vacations are mostly about gardening these days.

Alas, the difficulties of writing these cartoons a month or more before it’s time to draw them… and then the weeks until they’re published.

A cartoon for the history books.. the modern vacation is to stay at home and put on a hazmat suit when you need to go out to buy groceries.

Cruises? B&Bs?

Speaking as a contemporary of Frank – I’m with Eddie!

My family is all from the NYC area, so summers when I was little we’d go visit. I don’t know what it is, but when I’d see the Atlantic, even peeking between buildings, I’d get just like a dog seeing a squirrel I’d be so excited. Still take deep breaths whenever I can get close to that salt air!

Each day, I’m putting up pictures of a different vacation from years ago on the digital frame. Next week I may be at the stage where I’m going to have to ask for yours.

My father in law thinks like Eddie! Every time he goes on vacation, he loves to tell us about the hotel pool!

Just head down to Florida, the governor is keeping the beaches open…
