My husband is running all of the rrands now. And washing hands on re-entering the house followed by washing the doo knobs. At least if he get the virus, only one of us will have it and the other can, from a distance, look after the other.
I am the errand runner in the family (just two of us now – my daughter and I), but I am also the vulnerable one – diabetic and over 60 (63). She is a high functioning autistic but subject to panic attacks so she doesn’t/can’t drive. We are well stocked, but like to make a short run to 7-11 about 1-2 times a week to get drinks (diet soda/coffee for me, tea/coffee for her) just to get out of the apt for a bit. I am fortunate that I can work from home but I do suffer from a bit of cabin fever. I just need to get OUT! for a little bit. (in case you are wondering, I send my daughter in to the 7-11, I don’t go in.)

Always love how Roscoe seems to be the “straight man” (Or is it “straight dog” in this case?) for these gags!

Opal would learn Braille, if it would allow her to boss Earl around.

My wife prefers to run errands with me, but she is working ten hours a day four days a week, so that pushes everything to the weekend.

Earl should have said no at the first opportunity.

In my case, the other end of the same cotton swab is stuck in this ear, too.

Or you could do what Ernie does, and stick a banana in your ear.

Holy cow, it’s almost like we’ve gone back to the days when (dare I say it?) providers came to the people instead of the other way around.
