doughnuts are put in a special centrifuge. The calories, being lighter than everything else, get spun to the center and punched out. That’s why you should never eat ‘doughnut holes’

Any time one of us wanted something sweet or a snack before a meal and Momma or my Aunt said no, my uncle would bring us doughnut holes. His reasoning was, “Everyone knows the hole has no calories – there’s nothing there for the calories to hang onto!”
