Whoever said that avoiding another meeting with Dick Tracy was one of the biggest reasons for Quiver’s reaction in yesterday’s strip seems to have been correct.

Looks like they did away with the comment section over at Alley Oop. I guess they didn’t like all of the negative ones about the writing & plots?

The way Quiver is drawn is very reminiscent of Rick Fletcher’s artwork on Dick Tracy in the 1970s and early 1980s. I always loved his artwork. He had a very unique style.

( Off-topic … and I apologize in advance for bringing it up here … but is it just me, or did GoComics shut down the comments on “Alley Oop?” )

Put some beadier eyes on Edison, and she looks a lot like MTV’s Daria character….

I’m confused. Why would just seeing Shaky break her parole? That would only make sense if he was a known criminal (before this current misadventure).

I know the last two weeks’ strips have all taken place over a few hours on the day Tess was shot, but unless Quiver’s going to turn him in (quickly), I’d really rather see what’s going on across town, at the hospital…

Are we setting up for a transition BACK to the hospital?

One way or another Shakey,,, Tracy will be on your tail and then you will be shaking with fear.

Good to know Quiver has seen Dicko twice, we haven’t seen him in almost a month. Possibly in ICU with a virus?

So Tracy is Quiver’s parole officer as well as his day job?

Shaky shakes. He smokes foul cigars. He seeks to impose on his parolee cousin. And he teases about Tess.
