That’s why I’m sticking with my flip phone. I can barely operate this computer.

I’m reading this on a laptop that has a bazillion capabilities that I not only don’t know about, but couldn’t use if I did. On the other hand, I did learn something cool about it the other day. Or at least I remembered it yesterday…

Now you need to upgrade your landline phones so you can connect your cell phone to your landline phones via bluetooth.

You just keep waiting for that, Earl. Maybe Ed Mcmahon will stop by as well.

Got so use to face recognition that it’s annoying to constantly enter the code while wearing the dang mask.

May God smite me if I ever become this ignorant of technology. Except blockchain; you could ELI5 that to me for a month and I still wouldn’t get my head around it.

My wife uses her cell phone like a mini-computer – which I suppose it is – while I rarely use my cell phone for anything!

I will call someone on it – if necessary – and send a text when circumstances force me to, but even though my phone has all these other apps, I never use them!

That’s what my laptop and Tablet are for!

Verizon forced another “security” update down my phone’s throat the other day and now it works even more sluggishly and buggy than before. The only “security” they pushed is the forced obsolescence that will eventually force me to buy another phone from them.

I got my first cel, a Pixel, this January. Don’t use all that much data (I shopped around). My current favorite irritating toy is a sound effects app.

I read where the average consumer uses about 10-15% of the capabilities of the typical smart-phone. But you have to pay for that extra 85-90% you will never use (or even know about). I would guess my own usage is only about 5-8%, and I still manage to get those few functions wrong now and again.

Gramps, does it have an HDMI port, an external antenna port, a USB port, a five year battery guarantee, assurance it will connect from your basement after a tornado blew away the house and guarantee government first responders won’t preempt your call, security against people like Google from tracking your location phone on or off, 10g everyone wants 10g, does it run Excel, Word, Outlook and Google Earth….

Let’s see… Bluetooth: ability to connect with wireless things like earbuds. Airdrop: ability to share things wirelessly with nearby devices. High bandwidth: not super clear on this one. Something to do with good internet, though. No idea what “super hyper retina delay” is, though.
