P1, Sorry, Gonzo once I give out a stupid nickname you’re stuck with it until sometime in August when this story finally grinds to a halt.

P2, Mopman, I’m pretty sure if you had waited a couple of weeks to start the tournament, this dope would have been one of the top seeds.

P3, Gonzo finally accepts his fate until Monday when “The Mayor” starts calling him “Z” for no apparent reason. And while we’re on the subject of Mayors, I’m originally from the D.C. area and there is one and only one Mayor. Marion Barry!

Do we need a separate parade for Gonzo, or can we add him on that one we’re not doing for Phoebe and the mayor?

If there wasn’t going to be any conflict about the nickname, why make it a plot point at all?

In P1, how old is the dark haired woman/girl on left? And are those plaid pants the man is wearing. Overall on panel though, nice shadow effect drawn.

P1 – Milford only HS in America with a barber shop in it.

Now we see why he’s named “The Mayor”. Because he ignores other people’s wishes and forces his decisions on others. Is that it? Still waiting for an actual story to develop. Also still waiting to find out WHY THE MAYOR ASKED KAZ FOR ADVICE AT THE START AND WHAT HE ACTUALLY ASKED! And I’ll keep bringing this up all spring until they answer it. And if it is never referenced again, I’m going blowtop mad!
