At least, we’re not in suspense as to Wally’s whereabouts.

Antiquated architecture, yet a lot of technology had by whomever the inhabitants were. (Of course, we were told that of all the parallel realities there were, Wally’s (and the topsider’s) was the only one with survivors)

Someone above speculates Aaron Marx. May be a good time for him to show.

I blew the figure up as far as I could but all I could see was a possible long coat and a shadow, although the length of the coat may just be shading.

This lighthouse seems to be a veritable communications hub. Wonder if that’s of any significance?

The dishes are rather small. More like receivers than transmitters. And they generally point skyward. But if they were pointed at geostationary satellites, they would not be scattered all around

And apparently the operation of the lighthouse does not interfere with them — or else they weren’t used after dark. Most likely the former.

The shadow does not quite seem to match the figure, but if the person were standing differently than it appears, we could be fooled.

Yes, none of us knows who it is standing there. Because it is NOT dicernible. Nothing ever is. I have been “following” this comic for years and I never know what the hell is going on. I just like how cute Wally is. But he is never happy anymore. He never smiles.
