The community fountain works pretty well too.

Her engineering degree is getting closer and closer. The problem is that she might become one of those doctors that turn into an archenemy of superheroes.

I remember having one of those really big hoops to make bubbles so big that you could surround yourself inside a bubble. The novelty wore off really fast.

Poor Omar Khayyam…the poor old poet must be turning in his grave.

(And I’m saying this as probably the only one here who read the entire Rubaiyat for kicks. Still do.)

Cleaning the fountain sounds like a good job for one required to do a community project.

Kid is inventive and motivated – a fun combination for idle times.

We used to do this with a bucket of water, dish detergent, and a chunk of Dry Ice.

Thanks, Malliddiott, the park & rec crews will just love you. Good thing kids are too busy with school work to play copycat.

Instead of soap, try catnip bubbles, the cats would be in heaven!

Thank goodness. From the comments, one can surely say some of us have never lost that little kid spirit and enjoyment that we had in early years.

I once worked at catering kitchen that had a large commercial dishwasher. One of the kids who was a dishwasher when he quit filled the soap dispenser with dish soap. The thing looked like it had rabies, foam everywhere!

Oh, to be once again young enough to find bubbles exciting.

I thought you needed something like corn syrup to make the bubbles huge and lasting longer.

OK, just to quibble for a second, the th- sounds at the beginning of “thou” and “thousand” are related >>but different<< phonemes.
