It’s not often Calvin voluntarily smiles for a picture, so why not?

You know who else swats bugs, Calvin? EVERYONE!

And there weren’t any selfies in 1990.

I’m surprised there was anything left of the fly at all; I expect the usual splatter of bug guts left on the wall (hence at least part of his mom’s annoyance).

They could take it to a taxidermist and have it made into a wall mount trophy, but that stuff gives Hobbs the creeps.

Let’s just hope that Calvin’s last name isn’t Renfield.

To paraphrase the old saying, “When a man swats a fly, that is not news, because it happens so often. But if a fly swats a man, that is news.”

The Mighty Big Game Hunter need a picture to memorialize his kill.

Just don’t try to mount it’s head on the wall…

He should put it on a placard above his fireplace like hunters do with bear heads and other animals so he can remember his accomplishment

Trophy Hunting for 7 year olds!

When I worked at the country club, we’d have fly killing competitions with wet golf towels. It was a grisly business, but somebody had to do it.

Ahhhh…in the days before cell phones. You had to think twice about taking a picture.

But what if Calvin killed seven flies at once with one blow of the swatter?

“I killed one with seven blows!”
