Saturday there was a Turtle Derby in place of the Kentucky Derby with the regular announcer describing the turtle race. The winner was named What A Turtleneck.

Our local TV news is scraping the bottom of the barrel again. They debuted a new sportscaster last night… his main story was an upcoming iRacing event staged to be at the defunct North Wilkesboro race track… but he thought it was a real race… had it complete with video of drag racing at an unrelated track… we’re in the Deep South so I’m not sure the new guy is going to make it…
