I bought two pysanky today from a lady that makes them. They are so beautiful.

Susie doesn’t want to see you “lose your lunch” after finishing the contents in your thermos, Calvin.

Well as a kid, come to that an adult as well I detested milk, so why ruin a perfectly good jelly sandwich? My trick for today would involve the milk and a nearby drain. Other than that great tip Calvin, just know your audience a lil better.

I think he knows his audience a little too well. Usually he does things like that simply to gross Suzie out. Thinking this is a truly great idea might be a little unusual even for Calvin.

Still, he’s halfway to coming up with his own smoothie franchise some day…

A new Calvin I hadn’t seen before, what joy!

He missed the part where eating isn’t just about sustenance, but enjoying the taste.

The only problem is, it’s not a new idea: They do it at the nursing homes every day. They even market it - it’s called Ensure.

Hey all Calvin is close to being right. Not talking about Ensure either. My dad ages ago had his teeth removed and when mom fixed a meal had to put his in a blender so he could have nourishment. I had to myself when I went for braces as some foods not soft enough. For kids though can come up with different ideas to gross other kids out.

Eating is my second favorite pastime and I would hate to just mush everything up without experiencing the individual tastes and textures.

What a great little salesman! I’m sure he’ll have no trouble finding customers for his “Sludge Smoothie”!! (Boy customers anyway…)

I’m on early (for me) and got to see today’s egg. They seem to disappear sometime during the day. The ones I have seen are really great, showing a tremendous amount of talent and patience to produce.

It’s the nature of most young boys (and some not so young) to gross out girls. Susie should have known what was coming. What was she thinking when she sat next to Calvin?

BTW: teens try to mix up disgusting concoctions to see if I can eat them. They do their best, but so far I’m batting 1000!

IT is good for people who have had root canals. It is good if you can’t stand milk by itself too. Sounds like something that a kid would do. Cute!!!

Lewreader, there isn’t enough protective gear in the world for me to even consider telling my wife to go suck an egg!!!

My boss’s wife made great sandwiches, so at lunchtime I’d tell him a gross story, and he’d just toss me his sandwich and stomp away. Good sandwich!

Sometimes giving things up for Lent doesn’t just effect the person doing the giving up.

My great-grandmother would stir up everything on her plate before she ate it…said it all ended up that way anyway. Used to gross out my mom. Now in high school, the kids pay others to eat the most disgusting sludge they can concoct - usually has catsup, mustard, pickles, milk and anything else they can stuff into a milk carton… Marg, I agree with everyone… the eggs are gorgeous!

It’s been 17 hours and the egg is still there. Yea!! It is beautiful!!!

Some smoothies have unusual ingredients and combinations. V-8 Fusions is both fruit and vegetable. But I like to taste each distinct flavor.

Marg, If these are pictures of the eggs you bought, there would be no copyright problem and they didn’t delete it.

He should patent the idea

Back when I was a teen, in the 60’s, I lived close enough to the Michigan State Fair to get a two week job there. There was a gent there every year that was selling blenders. In his demo’s, he would take vegetables and blend them all together while giving his schpeil. Then he would pass out samples. Best strawberry shake I’ve ever had!
