for a few years a couple of cardinals made a nest in the rose bush outside our front door. It was perfect for them. off the ground. walls on two sides and the overhanging roof for shelter from predators and the rose thorns discouraging ground predators climbing up. the only problem was these two humans that kept walking past. We finally got in the habit of using the garage entrance for about six weeks until the hatchlings left.

We had a bird set up housekeeping over the dryer in our garage. Running the dryer didn’t seem to bother her. Birds hatched and eventually the nest was empty.

A groundhog just gave birth under my deck. She gets mighty feisty if anyone comes by. Wondering if Wildlife Relocation charges per animal.

For the third year in a row our garage is home to a nest of birds. It looks like a bird from each generation comes back to take advantage of the shelter. Amazingly, none have left much to clean up besides the nest itself, and those have all been in reasonably contained areas.

Wiz needs to get his eyes checked or brush up on his zoology. Rats don’t come from eggs.

Now you have a choice of not getting rid of. Specially for the wizard, since he keeps dragons as pets.
