Neal and Rod get sly with P3 commentary. I searched for bad boy Arthur Fonzarelli since a chopper was mentioned. Alexa Watson hasn’t been in gear since she was introduced. It’s time in this storyline for Fonzie to waterski.
P-1: Outfielder Maxwell Smart misses by “that much”.
P-2: No wonder they aren’t hitting. Someone should tell that young lady to use the side of the bat, not the end.
P-3: So you’re accusing Alexa of being an idler until now.
Prediction, in a race to the bag, 1st Base-person (LOL), Alexa, either pulls her hamstring or gets run over causing Coach Mimi to administer some TLC in the locker room while “the band played on”… Oh, and the ball rolls into the outfield while both VT players score to tie the game. (cue suspenseful music)
P1 – So the juveniles have no equipment, had to borrow helmets, gloves, etc., but they have a fungo bat? Too bad the Benston Boys fan can’t catch.
P2 – That must have really stung when the bat slammed into the divider between panels. But why are they using a hardball in this game?
P3 – I love when they use traditional baseball play-by-play talk. I can fondly remember hearing Ernie Harwell use those words, “Ground ball to the right side, that will put Norm Cash into gear…”

I still don’t understand, after all these years, why the girls don’t wear caps or visors in the field. But there are certainly heavier issues I still don’t understand after all these years so I guess it doesn’t matter that much but if anyone has an opinion I’d welcome it. Also, can anyone remember the last time we saw the Thorp kids? It’s been five years, that’s all we’ve got, that they’ve been missing. At least five years hasn’t it been?
