Or … turn it in as is, Petey … a perfect depiction of all that was learned during the school year.

Just make this a diorama of yourself doing the little rap number we saw on May 3, 2020, symbolically telling all your critics that you are sufficient unto yourself.

Leave it empty, but paint it black to symbolize the vast lack of knowledge you’ve accumulated over the past year. Works for me. :)

A good summation of his school year would be styrofoam balls glued to the outside of the box with red push pins in them to represent a Covid-19 virus with Petey isolated safely inside.

Just stick a tiny pair of eyes in the back of the box “And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you.” That would really freak out the teacher and class.

Leave it empty and title it “The Beginning”.

Start with foil. You can’t go wrong with colored foil.

Just label it “2020” and you’re good.

“I am an empty vessel into which you have poured your knowledge.” A little sucking up never hurts.

I always hated having to do shoebox dioramas in grade school.

I have to wonder if this was Richards sentiment when he looked at the empty comic panels and knew that he had to fill them each day. I do similar work, and dead lines can be crazy, the necessity of producing material and filling an empty spot can be hectic.

You’re going to turn all you’ve learned into water? Oh, I don’t think so. Remember Petey, WWLND (What Would Little Neuro Do?)… ☺

A pencil with a broken lead.. well chewed, with an eraser worn to the nub should do it.

Most of my shoebox creations crept outside the box. Very meta, in hindsight.

Think of all of those wonderful meals in the school cafeteria – can’t you go with that theme?

Striving for “perfection” may be the root of your creator’s block, Petey; strive instead for “pretty darn good”….
