Freddy Parkinson is the real-life brother-in-law of the real life Uncle Don (not Dan) Cruikshank and lives in the farm right next to his in Miami, Manitoba. The Orchard family is a longtime farming family who also live in Miami, Manitoba. Whenever Lynn Johnston does stories at the Cruikshank farm, she will inevitably name-drop these two families.
Michael Patterson is probably too young to remember Mae West, but he may remember the May West pastry, popular in Canada.
There is the so-called country life. There is the so-called city life. And while I can see the appeal and the perceived idyllic elements at play here, sometimes it occurs to me that life here in the suburbs ain’t that bad after all.
Its amazing how people are so in awe of President and Mrs. Obama that they still try to tear them down, because they do not want to ADMIT that he was one of the best presidents we had. NO DRAMA, NO DIVIDED Country and it was great! Just because he is a black/biracial man. And people would rather praise a man that ignored scientist and the advice from his own staff, people are sick and dying when it could have been slowed down. now we are laughed at by almost every country in the world because of the leadership we have. His family’s country Kallstadt, Germany where his relatives are still living were so ashamed that when he went on his trip to different countries they said that they did not want him to stop in their town. As far as Mrs. Trump the only thing I Know from several articles she isn’t legally a citizen because when she came to this country as a model she was supposed to follow guide lines for one year or she would be sent back to her country, she could not model in the nude and other guidelines but we know she did. But because trump wanted her, he made it so she could stay. I have nothing against her. she can’t help who her husband is.

When people work hard. (and farmers work a lot harder than most people in the world), you find your fun when and where you can get it.

When country folk see what’s going on in the cities, they figure this makes a lot more sense, and more fun.
