Sun getting up earlier than you want to, Janis?

This only works if the word “sun” is being used in it’s, very rare, double entendre sense.

Janis is a grump again. Where is the old Janis who actually smiled sometimes? I don’t like the change in her.

Janis is not unhappy, she is just drawn that way.

From my personal experience, I would guess that Arlo just appreciates the “extended viewing hours” in the bedroom!

It’s a little strange getting out of bed when the sky is lit, but it’s only for a couple weeks.

They are going to bed too early.

I think the point is that she doesn’t like the neighbors to see her in just her nightie.

Arlo seems to like the lights on. Natural or artificial.

Do my gardening in the late evening. Cooler and allows me to slow down.

All three bedrooms have blackouts. The slightest light wakes me. Even if the PVR comes on in the middle of the night the red LED wakes me. Blackout curtains ear plugs and a sleep mask every single night year round.

Agree with Janis wholeheartedly! All I want is darkness before 9:45. In fact, if it could be dark around 9 p.m. I’d be happy. I can get up in the morning before 5 just fine.

Did anyone serve? trying sleeping on a aircraft carrier underneath the catapult or catching some z’s during the daytime in the field for night patrol…

In a nutshell, the sun ought not rise before 6:00 AM nor set after 9:00 PM. 15 hours is plenty enough daylight!

Janis is closing the heavy drapes so the sun doesn’t wake her in the morning.

I loved the summer back in the day. Now in CA since we will be hitting the low to mid hundred’s most of this weekend and next week…..the a/c will be working overtime. Which means more money to PG&E.

Anyone else think it seems like Janis’ mood lately is leading up to something? Are we getting a menopause story? Cuz I recognize that grumpiness in myself some 12 yrs ago.

I don’t mind summer except for DST. By the time it’s dark enough for backyard astronomy it’s already my bedtime. Maybe someday I can retire and sleep in.
