This time June you’re right on both counts.

Ah, a form of Zeno’s paradox. According to Zeno, with this strategy, there will always be a brownie left.

It’s so not like fat boy to leave anything on the plate.

In my family, my mother insisted that tthe last serving of dessert “always” be left for my father. He never knew that it was a matriarchial decree :)

Actually they’re very considerate weirdos!

How is this weird? My sister and Iu do it all the time. . .

I saw a funny sign in a gift store once. It said “If you knew my family you’d understand”.

I come from a large family and have no problem taking the first or last brownie or any in between. He who hesitates eats vegetables.

This would never happen in our house. If there’s 4 cupcakes, I’ll take one thinking I’d have one later. Hubby comes in and devours 3 cupcakes. End of story.

Both parts of her are right.

It’s good to know that I’m not the only one who has done this!

My wife hates it when I leave just a bit of a drink in a bottle, or just a morsel of some goodie. I think it goes back to being a child and my Mother scolding me for finishing something, where she would say “Someone else might have wanted some!”.

That would have never happened in my family. My brothers’ motto was “Whoever eats the fastest gets the mostest.”

Says the Queen Weirdo herself.
