We’ll see, Nelson, who gets the last laugh when Earl’s great-great-grandchildren ask you who that little, blond boy in the picture is.

I remember walking behind a waiter into a room that seemed very large because of the full mirror on the far end… and wondering who that chubby balding guy was, who was walking toward us. The realization nearly knocked me over.

So, you kinda look like your dancing brain? :~)

Time does leave it’s mark on us!

Earl now explain to Nelson how the sands of time shift ! Next week the birds and bees story ;-)

Poor Earl!

My cousin recently remarked that I looked just like our grandfather. And not from his youthful pictures.

“BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! No, really.”

Everyday we change just like watching a baby….he looks like someone in the family each day…

Earl, to get back at the little punk, tell him to go ask Opal “who’s the skinny woman the dark curly hair?”

I remember notice my dad’s military paperwork back in the days, one item caught my attention was his weight which major different to his much older weight, I could not imagine him with the weight back in military time, my dad was much several pounds lighter.

People (grandpas) do look different older, but my Grandpa was pretty handsome. I don’t know what happened to the rest of us.

When Earl used to say, ‘Someday we’ll look back on this and laugh’, he didn’t have this kind of laughter in mind.

I have a copy of an old “Pickles” cartoon on my fridge. They are seated at the counter in a diner, and Earl looks across and says something along the lines of “Look at that old couple down there. Do you think we’ll ever look like that?”

To which Opal replies, “That’s a mirror. And that’s us.”

I used to work as a model. I had a copy of my favorite photo of me enlarged huge and framed on my wall for years. I was going out with a guy, first date, and he came to pick me up. He walked in and immediately flipped out over the photo. It went like this:

Him: Wow, who is that, she’s gorgeous!!Me: (Standing by the photo.) Don’t you see a resemblance?Him: Oh, yeah, you do sort of look alike. Is that your sister?Me: No, It’s me.Him: Oh, that’s you? (Long pause.) What happened?

Yes, it was our first and only date.

In 7thb grate I did a family history report in school. I found a picture of my dad in his late teens and titled it “He actually had hair.” It was the first picture I found where he did.

I love the look on Earl’s face in the last panel!

Is his Zoot-Suit the joke? Maybe his Nehru jacket?

Just wait, kid. Your time is coming.

I try not to look in mirrors or have my image taken because of the equipment damage.

I’ve dealt with my weight all my life – and remember thinking that I was fat as a teenager. A few years ago, I found some pictures of myself around 15 or 16 – and I had 6 pack abs. Who knew?
