    So her running on the beach was a real bust, eh?

    Well, she can do very well in swimming using her unique breast stroke.

    But on the bicycle part of the triathlon, the peloton will really be trying very hard to keep abreast of her…

    DAMN. I hate when I get a jellyfish sting at the nude beach! None of the boys are in a state where they’re able to pee on it. They’d be useless if I didn’t need a towel rack…

    “Stepped on a pop top;

    Cut my heel, had to cruise on back home."

    (Jimmy Buffet)

    What we called pop tops back in 1977 were so dangerous that they stopped making beverage cans that way, so that hardly anybody remembers anymore, if they ever knew, what that lyric originally referred to. (Today’s push-tab openers, which remain attached to the can, were preceded by pull-tabs or pop tops, which pulled loose from the can on opening and were easily lost track of, falling to ground to be stepped on or into the can to be swallowed.)

    Everyone knows that you must keep acetone handy near Santa Barbara beaches. There’s always tar on the sand.

    Last one: you can spend a lot more dough/ on a Gauguin, Matisse, or Van Gogh /but better by far/ than a nude by Renoir: is a nude by Bill Bouguereau!
