This touches on why I don’t insult opponents, at least to their faces. I hope they’ll STOP being my opponents. People are less likely to do what you want if doing so amounts to an admission that they’ve been idiots (or something worse) up to this point.
This IS a cornerstone of one of the few basic outlines for commercials: Make a “joke” ad featuring a fictitious customer, depicting how stupid they are. Next commercial break you watch, see how many of these you can spot.
Oh, I don’t know. The whole strategy of attacking potential voters is a very popular strategy right now. Just look at Il Douche’s strong-arm tactics of sending a para-military force against the city of Portland.
