I’m thinking about getting a TV with a dial. That ought to increase the amount of exercise we get around here by at least a few percent. Though I’d probably have to hunt REALLY HARD to find one.
It’s been 25 years since we got rid of cable. In that time, we have mostly only watched TV when at a hotel. Just don’t miss it. Of course, there’s the internet, so many things are still available.
Drive around the town where I live in south Texas and you can find crt tvs on the curb. I cannot guarantee that they will be functional. Our thrift shop closed or I could get you a bunch,
Earl GET UP off your patootie and go back into the bathroom and get the new book. Gosh I am usually on your side with things but this time I think you need to GET UP AND DO IT NOW!!!

Earl, as long as you have a finished book you can get up and put it back on the shelf whence it came.

It’s not the distance.. it’s the getting up out of the chair that is the hard part.

Earl you are lazy, just go back to bathroom and get your book. I have never read a book in the bathroom, neither has my hubby.
Buckeye67 about 4 years ago
If the library finds out Earl reads their books in the bathroom, he could lose his library card or they may make him buy the books.

Dad read Agatha Christie paperbacks in the loo. He had fags and an ashtray in there too.
