Let’s keep doing it the Trump way!

Now Trump wants Floridians to vote by the every-other-mail-in-vote-is-a-fraud U.S. Postal Service which he is trying to dismantle. I think I see his plan: shut down all Post Offices in blue states and put one on every corner in red states.

Louis Dejoy it the postmaster general. I worked for him. He is every bit the scumbag Trump is. His plan is to bring down the post office then take it over as the CEO of a for-profit mail delivery system that will charge higher fees on Amazon – conspiracy enough?

President Donald J. Trump: (08:29)But If you look, Arizona’s going down. Texas is going down, and Florida is going down.

Jonathan Swan: (15:59)It’s going down in Florida?

President Donald J. Trump: (16:01)Yeah. It leveled out and it’s going down. That’s my report, as of yesterday.

President Donald J. Trump: (16:10)And it is spiked. It spiked and is now going down in Florida. It’s evened out and going down in Florida.

Florida hit a peak back in mid-April of about 46 deaths/day and then was coming back down VERY slowly. Then in mid-June, it started a tiny bit of a climb back up from 42 deaths/day. Then around July 1st, it started skyrocketing and is now in excess of 124/day, or almost triple the peak back in April.

And Trump seems to think the important part is “deaths/cases” and not “deaths/capita.” To show how stupid this is, which is worse:

Scenario 1) We have 300 confirmed deaths over the whole country and we know, without a doubt, that’s the only deaths from the virus. So that’s about 1 person in 1 million. We have conducted 1200 tests and found 600 cases. So we have 50% of the people died that we know had the virus. We know that of the tests we’ve run, 25% of the people tested have died. And we know, without a doubt, those were the only cases nation-wide. So we have about 1 person in every 250,000 that was tested and 1 in every 500,000 was actually sick.

Scenario 2) We have 3,000,000 deaths from the virus. So 1 in every 100 people has died from the virus or 1%. We’ve tested every single person in the US (around 300,000,000) and found 50% of them have been infected. So the deaths are 2% of the cases. So now we have everyone was tested, 1 person in every 2 has had it and 1 person in 100 has died from it.

Which is worse? According to Trump, scenario 1 is worse because 1 in 4 that were tested died.
