Nothing mows as clean as those push mowers. Back in the 60’s I used to mow our lawn with one. You can’t let the grass get the least bit long or you’re setting yourself up for a frustrating job.
Chaz is pushing a reel mower. Noise pollution is limited, no gas, weighs maybe 20 pounds vs 50 for the rotary mower, is better for the grass (the grass is cut and not ripped) and the manufacturing of it is better for the environment than a rotary mower that’s gas or electric powered.
We have to adapt to the ones we love. We have to comply with the ones we respect. We have to fold to the ones we fear. We have to decide which is which.
Here in South Central Texas this year, the grass only grows if you water it. Mother Nature hasn’t been performing her duties much, unless thinning the herd of noisy humans with a virus counts.

Ask the dog to explain it to you.

Neighbor, you should be grateful that he is not using a noisy gas-powered mower.

Uh, they’re both push mowers. One with gas powered rotating blades, one with man powered shear blades.

They have electric mowers now. Would that make difference though?

Nothing is worse than those gosh-awful leaf blowers.

I looked into buying a push mower but they were more expensive than a cheap, gas mower.

I got an electric mower and I love it! Aside from not having to futz around with gas and oil anymore, it is significantly quieter!

My landlord, who nicely maintains my yard, said he bought a push mower because it’s less likely to be stolen than a gas mower!
