Limited Edition(one each for the three of them)of their first comic book. Very impressive.
Once again, a little over 10 years ago, Richard posted a blog entry regarding this strip:
http://richardspooralmanac.blogspot.com/2010/08/todays-cul-de-sac-august-24-2010.html
If Richard posted more about this strip later as that says, I haven’t seen it (doesn’t mean it didn’t happen).
These kids are tremendous.
“There it goes again!”
I love these characters so much.
What? Nobody is Micky Mouse or Bugs Bunny? What kind of comics are these?
I just realized that Andre looks like he’s drawn as an homage to Maurice Sendak.
Are those chocolate chip cookies ? Yum !
So cute-all of them!
What is the teacher dressed as?
Happiness abounds. Even through the Peteys of the world sometimes.
Mr. Spinnerack; the stapler; three costumed creative kids (Andre Chang, Petey Otterloop, Loris Slothrup); cookies.
What an awesome concluding ceremony for a surprisingly successful Cartoon Camp!
YAY, kids!
Zoom! And it’s all over!
I wonder how long Loris will last in school before they slap the psychopharmacological handcuffs on her lovely mind.
Congratulations kids. Never stop dreaming. Never stop drawing.
Petey the Red.
Good job Mr. Spinnerack.
My stapler is red. It is my stapler. And, I was told I could have it.
Correction Loris Slothrop, “Your life is flashing before your eye”.
Is Richard trying to exalt, satirize or ridicule his profession?
I think my own death will be just a bit more peaceful, now that I have witnessed the rare ecstatic elation of heroic Petey Otterloop; to bad the rest of the Peteys aren’t here to enjoy it with him.
please, please, can we see the final comic book project they did?
What sort of kids leaves biscuits uneaten? I was like a vacuum cleaner as a kid, nothing was safe :-)
I always felt honored when the bailiff stapled my summons together…
The one where Petey’s contentment overrides his biological instinct. :)
