That got dark in a hurry.

A picture is worth a thousand words, even if you don’t know a thousand words.

So for next week, one possible failure to communicate is the leader telling his followers to do something they don’t know how to do (do what with his head)? I see spears, but not knives or axes.

Wileys drawings are amazing…such detail with just grey paint strokes!

The other cavemen are still trying to figure out how to stick a bone into the mastodon.

“So! We give a necklace to the stick figure. And we Bone the Mastodon!” (Smirk!)

A “failure to communicate”? Is this Cool Hand Homer?

Heading for some dire straits,…. and not the group.

New ideas are always threatening to the people in charge, no matter what age they’re in. And the reaction is often the same.

Does the Woman Who Has Language stammer because it’s an allusion to Moses? Or is Wiley going for something else altogether?

I don’t like where this is heading.

All they need is a AR-15 , sorry but I just had to say it .

With no paper or scissors, their choices are limited.

This has to be the most stupid arc in comic history… And I bet Miller thinks he’s a genius.

Ralph, go suck a lemon sourpuss.

This story could use a lot of editing. Too long and drawn out.

If it people consider this arc a mediocre N.S. story line, it’s still better than 90% of daily comics.

Unless there are bears to color, when Miller’s Sunday strip reads like Prince Valiant, I bail.

Evolution was never smooth or continuous. T’was the way of it.

Sorry – not interested in or enjoying this storyline. Unless there’s some subtle underlying meaning I’m missing?

Question for Wiley or anyone else – I’ve been going through the archive and I realize that I haven’t seen Joe’s girlfriend for quite some time. How was she written out and why?

I keep waiting for the appearance of the big black monolith, dimensions 1 (1²) x 4 (2²) x 9 (3²) … in the portion of spacetime perceptible to humans, to whom the additional 16 (4²) x 25 (5²) are forever inaccessible.

Plan vague.

Either this will be a very short lived second chance at life for Homer, or that better be a really huge failure in communications… Stick figures could mean anybody, right?
