Every couple has their dynamic. When drinking coffee at a restaurant and the wait staff would come by to ask if either of them wanted more coffee, my mom would dump her cup in dad’s offer up her cup, and say please. What wait staff didn’t know was my mom only drank very hot coffee, too hot for dad to drink, so when her coffee got too cold for her to drink it was cool enough for dad.

As I recall there was a series of episodes where he was considering dating again. That idea was never developed.

Having been widowed, also by a car wreck, I can understand Sergio feelings. Thankfully God had someone else for me to share my days.

My wife Kathy belonged to Dairy Queen’s Blizzard of the Month club for a time, but would always send me – with her name on the coupon – to get them. Was prepared to say I was Kathy, short for Katharsis because Mom was so relieved to get me out of her.
