Wait a minute, wasn’t this guy “huge”? He must have shrunk!
Aw, kitty just wants to play.
A common enemy etc……
Come on guys, make up your mind. Now who’s gonna kill who?
Okay, from “grotesque attacker” and “beast-man” and “it” to “hairy MAN” [emphasis added] in two strips … a record even for Tarzan.
Apparently, to be humanized in ERB-World, one most only bear an irrational hatred of felinoids and a strong desire for murder.
And then, out of nowhere, Lisa St. Ives comes running out of the jungle towards the cat screaming “Let me at it!”.
New friend? Common enemy? Hot Queen? Oh boy. Lions and tigers and bears. Oh my! This one strange roller coaster.
Ape guy uses ploy he saw on Bugs Bunny cartoon: Here boy, here boy, fetch the stick, fetch the stick!
That is one well drawn lion, very cool. Comics lost a lot when they started colorising everything.
Hairy will speak in the “language of the great Apes” ? Kreegah!
Two against one, that isn’t fair, but the saber-toothed lion didn’t stand a chance from the very beginning. Scratch one clubbed and stabbed big cat. Great artwork in today’s episode!
Is Tarzan in the lost land of Paludon? Not sure of the spelling. It was featured in comics of the 50’
I gotta get me one of those war clubs, looks like it could really do a number on man or beast.
Tarzan said, crap, don’t I get to kill anything?
Then the lion says, “Hey, Fred. How’s the missus? Are you having trouble with that wanker?”
