The moon landing was real, the part that was faked was the humans. We didn’t have that tech. Sasquatch did it.

I might get more drawn into some of these conspiracy theories if the people who believed them so fiercely didn’t come across as crazy or stupid

Most profound comic strip I can recall reading in a long time. The developers of the Information Highway weren’t expecting it to be clogged with so much rubbish.

    it’s not true…

On July 20, 1969 Mr. Bigfoot was attributed with a photograph of a creature in Scotland now called the Loch Ness Monster, or Nessie. The photo is somewhat blurred and due to poor lighting only a silhouette.

Both Brietbart and the National Enquirer paid substantial money to Mr. Bigfoot for the photo, so a paper trail does exist.

Brietbart ran the photo with the caption: “Mastermind of 1968 assassination of Robert Kenedy secretly returns to Loch Ness and plans to go to Lockerbie Airport nearby. A terror plot involving airports is imminent.”

The National Enquirer ran the same picture with the caption: “Lover of Edwin Muskie avoids camera by sinking in Scottish Loch”.

Nixon and Agnew appalled. Agnew claims, “we Republicans would never have seedy affairs with Scottish wenches. So it’s good we won the election”

I’m not sure Dr. Mel is the best person to go to with these concerns…

It is true. Bigfoot didn’t land on the Moon. He went straight to Mars.

In Ice Age “wastelands”, where the temperature was tens of degrees below 0 degrees Fahrenheit, unless local Neanderthals dressed like Eskimos (like humans in the movie “Ice Age” did), I think they’d have to have a physiology a lot like Bigfoot, Yeti, etc. to tolerate that cold.

I think it’s going to be funny to watch all the backpedaling among the conspiracy-minded when we return to the moon in a few years, and find all that stuff sitting just where we left it — footprints and all. Of course, even that won’t be enough to convince the hardcore few that it never happened, but hey, you can’t fix crazy.
