I don’t know how this years Halloween will go. But usually it is the college students who go around at night and smash all the pumpkins that they can find. And making a right good mess for the home owner to clean up too.

Thinking back on a Halloween over 30 years ago always makes me laugh. I was a library aide at the Jr. Hi School. My (at the time) husband wasn’t exactly a model citizen, especially in the eyes of a group of local teens. When we went out to our vehicles on November 1st. his pick-up had been egged, but my car was egg-free!

Now to get it down without dropping it.

Simple solution: Bring the real pumpkin inside and put a fake one on the porch. Mine has a nightlight in it on a timer.
