Just read some of the comments, especially the political ones

You can look at the situation in two ways: (1) They are stupid / mean or (b) You are smarter / kinder.

This makes it easier to pity other people rather than to hate them.

As much as stupidity is rampant, old and exhausting to deal with on a regular basis, it is OUR choice to be annoyed by it or not. Of course there are situations that make it difficult but overall, pain is fate, misery is choice.

I actually have a car magnet that reads, “I will try to be nicer, if you try to be smarter”, what does not kill you makes you only stronger, right?
