I like the way that the “fashion industry” has taken off with masks. Covid-19 is a very bitter lemon, but at least some people have been able to make lemonade out of it.
There are three ways to handle the Covid-19 pandemic: you can wear masks, wash your hands, maintain social distancing and tolerate it (perhaps even with good humor), you can wear masks, wash your hands, maintain social distancing and complain about it, or you can still believe it is a hoax and do nothing except complain about it.
The virus will rage on no matter how you deal with it. The only difference is how miserable you choose to feel about it. Unless you are a health care professional, there is nothing you can do to affect the outcome except wear masks, wash your hands and maintain social distancing. Complaining won’t make it go away.
It’s your choice: be proactive and get on with life and worry about other problems that you can fix, or be reactive and feel like a victim.

I don’t know why people keep saying the higher numbers are just due to more testing. as if that meant something. Neighbor repeated that blarney yesterday. I asked him, if no testing is done would that mean the virus is as not as serious as reported? He looked a little blank.

My masks are soft 3-ply cotton. They are so comfy I frequently forget I have one on.

From March until July I was working in the dairy department where the temperature in the cooler runs just a bit above freezing
I thought the mask helped with the cold

“Masks” may not be 100% effective, but “No Mask” is 100% ineffective. Do the math.

Aren’t there already companies marketing battery-heated gloves? So how about battery-heated masks?
