Sweat pants are my friends. Why? Because one time when my personal trainer at the gym asked me what my fitness goals were I told him, “To look down and see my feet.” He wrote it in my chart! :-)
I once had a similar problem. I awoke wifh a terrible pressure on my chest and I couldn’t move. Then I realized it was the cat, sitting on top of me. He was a Maine Coon.
Reminds me of what a preacher once said. He told the congregation that earlier in the day, he went to work out. He sweated, groaned, strained, and nearly passed out. Once he had his leotards on, however, he was ready to work out!
About twelve years ago I thought I was having a heart attack. Then I burped, drank some water, and the searing chest pain disappeared. That was my first experience with massive acid reflux.

Time for some larger pants Earl. Or you could always go for those stretchy types.

I only get that effect when I’m leaned all the way over trying to trim my toenails. (Yeah, TMI, but hey, I’m old enough to not care…)

Once in a while my reflux will go into overdrive and it feels like a heart attack, but drinking some water stops the pain instantly.

Very tight pants→decreased venous return→decreased cardiac output→
decreased blood flow to brain.
