“world is moving in a different direction” – sure is. It’s been since 1997 since we had a decent winter here in Denver. Our biggest fires, Cameron and Troublesome, are finally contained, but as yet, they still burn. Seams like each year brings new records for our wildfire season.
But that’s okay. Human caused global warming is just a hoax, so they say…
Winslow, this area has been franchised and purchased by some Trump U. Grads who say that they were taught how to make a fortune. Right now they are away helping to find massive voter fraud.
The increasingly dry Prairie States may eventually cast their envious eyes at the Great Lakes. (The December 2020 “National Geographic” contains an informative article, “Saving the Great Lakes.”) But, to quote, “The Lakes’ immensity belies their fragility.”
Admittedly reaching for a link to the strip… A plow is about to push our neighbors over the edge into poverty. Millions Set to Lose Aid as Federal Programs Expire — Ritholz’s whole topic list is worthwhile today. https://ritholtz.com/2020/12/sunday-reads-224/
I am assuming that this strip takes place in the Arizona’s Valley of the Sun. All he has to do is go to the Flagstaff area, he will make lots of money clearing snow
