Hart is not known for his mastery of diction. The panel also prompts viewers to wonder “where in God’s name did all those stone wheels come from simultaneously?”

It would seem that the only way now is to manipulate the Matrix… (a big, lumbering dino dodging a la Neo, is a funny image)… ☺

Considering the skillful moves displayed by Gertie over the last several strips, I fully expect that an additional panel (or perhaps tomorrow’s strip?) would show a graceful and awe-inducing extrication from this predicament.
