    Save your fingers:

a comma used after the penultimate item in a list of three or more items, before ā€˜andā€™ or ā€˜orā€™ (e.g. an Italian painter, sculptor, and architect ).</I

I was hoping the final comment would illustrate the oxford commaā€¦He didnā€™t go to Oxford, fake British accent, and, He has never been outside of USA.

And the British do NOT use the Oxford comma. making some of their sentences read weird and having to be read more than once ā€“ to figure out who is grouped with whom.

I know the Brits invented the language but the Oxford comma is just plain ridiculousā€¦.. same for all those silly Uā€™s they add to wordsā€¦.. look this word up in your Oxford dictionary: REDUNDANT.

Could have worked one it. I though it was a joke about how they use ā€œsingle quotation marksā€ for quotations in the UK rather than ā€œdouble quotation marksā€ as in the USA. (Worse, they call them inverted commas.)
