So, the little ball of fuzz is somehow related the one who taught Olwen to scry-by-fire. I wonder if it’s along to help or to keep an eye on her (or both). Meanwhile, poor Vesper and Wigglesworth. I hope Baba Yaga can help… and in time for Olwen to catch up to Hemlock and flay him alive.

Appears that Grandma Olwen will be asking for the special Vodka from Baba Yaga!

Wow, if Baba Yaga is that powerful no wonder she is so feared. But we’ll all help grovel if it adds effect, like clapping for Tinkerbell………please Baba Yaga PLEASE!!!!!!

Who is Vesper’s mom? Or Dad for that matter? How did she end up with Olwen?

Necromancy rarely ends well. Remember “The Monkey’s Paw”?

I had a wide range of emotions from panel to panel. Cannot imagine Granny groveling. Should be entertaining. :)

Hefty groveling? Olwen, what did you do? Does Medusa Nazis have the Medusa stone because you swiped it first?

Dear G. Dunn this is a beautiful strip and the layout is fantastic!! Particularly love the flashback panel 2. The fire scrying creatures are cool too, and that companion/larval stage friend appears to be the ‘tribble’ like critter we’ve been seeing since the return. The babushka is an awesome touch! (I think I have one living next to my gas furnace in the unfinished part of the basement…) Strip just keeps getting better Ms Dunn.

I love how, in the last panel, Olwen is blowing out the candle, and the flame moves just before going out.

I also like that Olwen has apparently removed her right eye (the stone one) and has it on the nightstand next to her.

Ah! And there’s also Ivan, who could be the Grand Sacrifice to pay for Vesper & Wigglesworth’s lives. After all, he seems to have Learned Better during his sojourn, and may think it’s not worth going on as a blind man.

Thought about this while reading the next one, with the kids cleaning up, and I thought “there’s Pilot and Ivan who have to not look delicious, too.”
