Let’s not forget those who lost jobs or were forced to a reduce schedule. These people suffered and sacrificed for all of us as well. May we all look forward to a better year.
Thank you Robb. The grocery biz isn’t getting any less stressful. I’ve heard that we’re next in line for the vaccine. I’m not counting on normal returning before I retire.
$15/hour or better. That would be a major thank-you. Let’s put the money where the praise is. Damn hard to pay your rent or put food on the table using praise and gratitude.
I work in a bank. We closed the lobby almost 3 weeks ago because of the surge. People are coming to the drive-up and asking why the lobby is closed! I bite my tongue and say it is out of an abundance of caution. Please understand that we all have to put up with some inconveniences to keep everyone safe. Merry Christmas to everyone. Health and happiness in the new year.
I am actually reading this from the ER today. Thank you for this Robb Armstrong and for all the laughs throughout the year! And a Merry Christmas to you and your family, should you celebrate that holiday. If not, have a Merry Friday!
Let’s do what we can to see that frontline workers in whatever line of work get paid what they’re worth. Thanks must sound pretty empty when they have to struggle to feed and clothe their families.

I think this might include my dad, who is a mail sorter for a bank. Does someone know if that makes him a frontline worker?

Not just the stores. Water treatment, electric generation etc.

I still have trouble wrapping my brain around the thought that I’m considered a Frontline worker and essential
I do feel safer after moving back to night crew, much less contact with others
I tell people that I’m no hero, just a mild mannered grocery stocker
Anyone who knows me laughs when I say mild mannered

Every last one of them. The ones with the mops, brooms, and vacs!

I’m 73 and have underlying issues, however, I will wait for my vaccine until all essential workers and those who must work to live have had theirs.

I love how the artist incorporates the Philly skyline into his work. The architecture of the neighborhoods also feels authentic.
