Lucy is a horse. Dave is the moose. Lars is the Martian. Lars is good friends with Jeffery the science geek. And Jill the Overachieving Optimist in Pajamas.

No Jeffrey? Much as she denies it, Danae does consider him a friend.

I wonder what Dave is up to?

Seems each statement expands one group’s knowledge of the other. So, have the revelations begun to alter the current universe they share? Can’t wait to read it.

On the other hand, one of them has a friend who wears pajamas everywhere and travels on a swarm of mosquitoes….

I can’t believe how good I am at the accent when I read these! It’s like I was born in Maine!

I often find that Danae and Lucy are the Calvin and Hobbes of Non Sequitur.

Hey! They are both highly gifted, with creative imaginations! Kate is the traditional “teacher pleaser”, but Danae has so much creativity just waiting to BE.

Does Kate have any friends?

Hmmm, I always envisioned Danae and Kate as being about the same age — maybe even fraternal twins — but now that I hear the bit about a pair of ex-wives I’m starting to wonder if one of them is older than the other. And, if so, which?

Even though I really tire of the Maine accents (I was born there) I love this nifty twist towards surrealism & fantasy. (Wouldn’t it be fun if Dave started channeling Galileo or something?) Tally Ho, Wiley!
