TRUE: I just awoke from a dream in which I was reading a new comic strip about a cute little boy. In the dream I realized the strip was actually “TNAQV” and that Pab was trying out a new format for syndication.

Bit a second source of the dream was that I recently watched a 1962 episode of “Perry Mason” (S5E23, “The Case of the Absent Artist”) which involved (SPOILER ALERT) the murder of a rich cartoonist with a secret double-life as a starving artist. The cute little boy in my dream was the cartoon character from the TV show. (Best thing about the episode: delicious hyper-acting by Zasu Pitts and Victor Buono.)

This seems evidence that 1) I take comics very/too seriously and 2) the subconscious mind is an amazing thing.
