It’s nice to have someone who cares that much.

I know how you feel. We do anticipate each other and answer questions before asked.

Feels like home. I notice where he left his things and depending on what he is doing I tell him where are the ones he needs.

Hubby and I are that way. Sometimes I wonder why we even bother to talk to each other!

And yet, no contempt has been bred. This must be love.

Anyone who has been married over 40 years knows their spouse as well as they know themselves.

you can have an entire conversation by yourself. My sweetheart makes the same silly comments so often that I often know what his response is going to be. It amuses him when I recite his lines before he opens his mouth.

I can’t count the number of times one of us has said "Did you – " and the other answers, and we know what the topic is.40 years together will do that to you.

Especially when he’s habitually forgetful.

I actually believe this process doesn’t take long About a year or two

To all of the above. Your comments made me chuckle this morning. Been there, do that.Not too long ago we were trying to think of a person’s name. The next week, without any introduction, I said the name and he said yes. End of conversation.
