The dead fish are floating under the ice.

Wonder how long they can sit there before their butts gets cold.

I wonder if this method scared the fish away from that spot…

I don’t know about being easier? First you you have to drag the trebuchet out and position it. Second, you have to “wind” up the trebuchet so that it can throw the stone. And then you got to put the weight/stone in the sling. Using an Auger would seem to me to be a lot less work.

It’s one way of breaking the ice…

Catapult multi-tasking?

Our scout group had a Trebuchet.

There’s a group of ice dippers in the neighbourhood that keep breaking holes in the ice so they can sit in the river.

I grew up in Montana and we had plenty of opportunity for ice fishing around the Yellowstone river. But, you know, boring!

“Fatowng” ?? Really ?

Their butts have probably already frozen to the ice.

I wouldn’t auger with him about that.

Well now I know how to describe the sound a trebuchet makes

This does not auger well for the fish.

Well it is good until you realize that the rock going though the ice probably created lots of cracks in the ice that are just waiting to give way under the weight of the fish you pull in.

The ice looks a bit thin for two people, especially when one of them is wearing full armor. Sir Rodney is going to get his b**t frozen to the ice soon, if he does not end up under it.

I wonder if they got that trebuchet from Dill’s brothers from Cul-de-Sac?
