I didn’t think Chief could donate blood without a heart.

For your sake Brutus, I hope you said that out of earshot of the Chief. If he’d heard you, it will be your blood the next time he donates blood.

Giving blood seems out of character for the Chief. He must have a friend who is a blood sucking vampire like himself.

Ok, he has one good point. He will need more than that however to clear things with His Maker. It IS a start. However, if we was going to donate someone else’s blood, it would probably be Brutus’s…..

Probably the blood of some poor employee he just finished sucking the life out of!

Back in the day when I was working and hardly had the time to give blood, I made time and gave blood anyway. I gave so much that the Red Cross awarded me my four gallon cap. But, just about that time, I started getting sick after giving blood, so I can’t give anymore. That’s doubly sad since, as a retiree, I now have plenty of time.

This is one of the rare times that Brutus isn’t a born loser. He was smart enough to wait until his boss was gone before he made that remark!

WHAT HE REALLY MEANT – I’ll be at the blood bank, selling a pint of blood.

I hope Brutus made that remark sotto voce. The walls have ears.
