A year before running for congress, Marjorie Taylor Greene literally spoke to a crowd she was whipping up into a frenzy of mob violence and called for the killing of the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi.

After being sworn in, this person who literally threatened the life of the Speaker of the House, reportedly led UNAUTHORIZED private tours of the Capitol building the day before the Trump-incited insurrection (while such tours were prohibited due to COVID-19 restrictions) to groups that included those who would the next day in an ARMED, VIOLENT INSURRECTION and attempted overthrow of the Capitol and assassination of elected officials.

She subsequently refused to submit to metal detectors and has bragged that she carried firearms into the House chamber.

She MUST not be allowed inside the chamber without passing a metal detector and being cleared of carrying any weapons into the chamber of fellow legislators she has threatened to kill. If she refuses, she should not be allowed in. This would not be Pelosi silencing her, it would be her own refusal to enter the chamber appropriately.

Marjorie Taylor Greene must be expelled from the House and any Republican voting against doing so must go on the record as supporting someone who called for the killing of the Speaker of the House.

She needs to be expelled and arrested for threatening to kill her fellow Congress members.

It is VERY CLEAR that being sane isn’t an actual requirement for being elected to federal office. I do think that being crazy AND encouraging people to kill (Pelosi, among others) should be reason to eject her, maybe even into a head-shrinkery.

Trump supporters can’t understand why we think they’re stupid. That is because they live in an alternate reality and will never address reality in any form. I hear even when dying of Covid they deny it(comments from healthcare professionals).

Marjorie Taylor Greene, the person who:

Believes that school shootings are false flags, and has left Facebook posts on the topic

Harassed a school shooting survivor, and even left the video on her Youtube account.

Has made a number of racist, Islamophobic, and anti-Semitic videos.

Wanted to force Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib to swear on the Bible.

Got into a screaming match when she refused to wear a mask during he swearing-in.

Has indicated support for executing Democrats.

Deleted a Tweet on January 16th where she told Trump supporters to “mobilize”, earning her a twelve hour ban for violation of Twitter’s civic integrity policy.

And all of this is the tip of the iceberg. This devout QAnon follower believes some crazy stuff, but the repugs decided that she was fit to be placed on the House education committee!

    BUT WAIT…THERE’S MORE…

Believers of the QAnon conspiracy have begun to spread rumors that Donald Trump will become president again on 4 March, as the theory merges with other online extremist movements.

QAnon supporters have been circulating the theory that the Republican will return to office in recent days, with many suggesting 4 March as a final day of reckoning for the former president’s opponents.

The rumors, which have been shared on TikTok, come amid reports QAnon was moving towards theories promoted by The Sovereign Citizen movement.

Its supporters argue that they are ungovernable because the United States has been a corporation since former president Franklin D. Roosevelt ended the gold standard in 1933, when the value of the dollar was no longer pegged to gold.

According to reports, the sovereign citizen theory has been shared among Trump and QAnon supporters on TikTok, who believe Mr Trump will become the 19th president of the United States on 4 March – the date inaugurations were carried out before 1933.

The theory also alleges that all amendments to the constitution since have been invalid since 1871, when the 14th Amendment guaranteed citizenship for former slaves and equal “protection of the laws” for all Americans.

Just another vicious lying right wing extremist rat we are supposed to accept as normal for a Republican.

If republicans don’t care enough to hold the orange buffoon accountable for his inciting an insurrection, I don’t see much chance they’ll do the right thing with the whacko Ms Greene either!

I am so sorry for my friends in the US. If the Republicans don’t repudiate MTG, if they start to cozy up to Trump again, then they are truly showing themselves to be the modern version of fascism. It’s great that Biden won the election, but the nutcase fascists have not given up. Can reasonable people come together with sufficient resolve to save the battered institutions of American democracy? I wish I were more confident. (And then there’s the climate.)

The evil Qanon cult is, without any question whatsoever, the MOST idiotic cult in the history of cults. That being said, there’s at least some reason to suspect that it started out as a parody. Anybody who has had the misfortune to watch TV sitcoms is well aware that sooner or later the writers will trot out a “cult” episode. (Whichever character or characters fall for the cult will, of course, come to their senses just before the last commercial……..) And, of course, the TV writers all try to out-do each other in the craziness of the cults that their (fictional) characters fall for. (Only the dumbest or craziest characters on each show, of course!) Yet, c’mon, Qanon? Dumber than all the rest so I’m hoping that at least it STARTED as a parody……..
