Arlo, You know if you run out of cat food that you need to go to the store and get more.

Once again, Arlo proves the old saying : Dogs have owners, cats have staff.

Variety is the spice of life, even for cats.

It’s pretty likely any quality brand will have all a cat ever needs , but I’ve learn to QUICKLY open liver AND GET OUT OF THE WAY! (Wanna see the scars on my leg?)

That’s how my family reacts when I tell them that we still have leftovers in the fridge.

Arlo is not out of food, Ludwig has decided he needs a new flavor. As any cat owner can attest, what they love one day, the next day, they will sniff their nose in disgust! I think it’s one of the ways they amuse themselves at our expense.

Only time the Siamese kitten rubs against my legs is when I go to the kitchen and she thinks she might get fed again.

We take for granted how difficult it is to draw sad cat.

Just like our cats! One day it’s one kind of cat food; the next day they won’t touch it….

Picky cats are rarely picky for more than one missed meal.

imagine how you would feel if you ate the same thing day after day after day; pizza excluded. i alternate the canned food for my 14 yr old dog every day so he isn’t bored.

What you’ve got there in the cupboard is likely the exact same thing Ludwigs has been eating day after day.

Panel 3: “So?”

I have a friend who would very likely die if she had to eat the same thing two days in a row. On the other hand I had the exact same lunch for whole year in elem. school (chili, apple, buttered bread, milk) and liked it just as much the last day. (I ate at home in case you’re wondering… long story… but it involved watching Jeopardy)

When all of the strays we took in over the years passed on my wife got a himalayan. That cat will only eat fancy feast chicken primavera and will literally starve herself if we try anything else. Oh yeah, and cat treats of any kind!

I like cats, just do not want one. This is one reason. Far too much work for the alleged return of affection.

I don’t think my cats have ever tasted their cat food. They scarf it down.

One of my four cats, Baelish, is picky about the flavor of the canned food they get so everyone eats what he likes. The others don’t care.

Let’s see you eat the same thing three days in a row.

Arlo, just shake the dish, or move it so the food is near him when he approached the dish. He’ll be happy.

We all have a favorite meal. I could eat Tacos five nights a week. OK, maybe seven.

Truly picky eaters tend to starve.

Chicken yesterday, tuna today (in oil for their coats) , some sort of meat tomorrow ad nauseam infinitum. And one of three varieties of good dry stuff and some form of treats. They like dried anchovies best. And fresh water from the fountain.

One of my ex’s looked until she found a brand that had eight distinctly different flavors..each day, a different flavor to keep Maddie intrigued.

Fair play by Luddy. Sometimes I can have the same breakfast cereal a few days in a row and then I shift to a different one. Lately my breakfast crave is a good, hot cup of coffee and a fresh bagel toasted and buttered. Simple pleasures.

I say this often. My cat will scarf something one day and refuse to even look at it the next.
