Somewhat similarly, I’m at times puzzled why I’m getting emails addressed to my late mother. The email address is mine; she never really had an email of her own.

Once you’re under Medicare you will see your mail volume go way up. I feel like a warehouse for storing government paper.

AARP emails that start out “Members new benefits…..” is just a sales ad. I belong for the supplement medical, that and logo tee-shirts that attracts the babes…./s

My Dad got me a membership in AARP to mark my turning 50. That was 17 years ago and I’ve kept my membership up. I’ve thanked him for that more than once.

After returning all their free mailer’s with messages to leave me alone, AARP finally stopped sending me things. I guess it was costing them too much postage for the bricks I glued them to.

I got my first AARP mail when I was 45!!!!!! I wrote them a nasty letter, telling them off for snooping into my business & not even getting the info correct. The next time I heard from them, was 6 months before my 65th BD. Guess they actually read my letter…

My husband got his first AARP letter when he was 35. He called and asked if the waiting list was that long.

It’s the ads for long term care facilities and funeral services that bother me. But at least they don’t say my doctor referred me to them.

We’ve gone from AARP flyers to walk in bath tubs and yesterday it was a stair chair. Lol we are both in our early 60’s but not wanting to do any of those to our house. It would make selling it harder.

What really baffles me is that I keep getting flyers in the regular mail for pediatric dental services! They’re about 55 years late for me to be interested in that, lol!
