3 – I’m sure your neck is too strong Bozo, but even still I wouldn’t pass out like that sprawled over the stump with an axe laying on the ground right next to you.

Mr. Bozo? Never thought of Bozo having a first or last name.

1. No, Bozo, no. Save water. Save earth!

2. Mr. Bozo. PWD Officer of sewerage management.

3. Gobble gobble! Bozo wants to gobble turkey dinner.

And once again, a big thumbs up for Foxo’s marvellous masterpiece, the wordless wonder called Bozo! Great comics with great artwork, drawn with skill and care. A rare comic with no character uttering a word ever. Bozo is the epitomisation of silence is golden and a picture speaks a thousand words.

1) One Way is Bozo’s way. 2) The Umbrella Guy is doing a balancing act. A dog is after a cat. And Bozo is underground. 3) Bozo is tuckered out chasing a turkey.

1 This would have been unnecessary if the cop had been paying more attention to directing traffic.

2 Umbrella Guy making sure to reserve a good spot on the parade route (which is why he’s not in 3).

He’s running around like a Bozo with his head cut off.

I knew he was strong, but finger-wrench strong is pretty scary.

1. He was just cleaning … um… , clearing a way to cross the street.

2. Yes, Mr. Bozo is in his office, please watch your step.

3. Oh that Bozo, what a turkey!

¹) A one-way street with a three-way crossing: The right way, the wrong way, and Bozo takes the waterway.

²) Every working person deserves a title!

³) After getting the run-around the turkey’s confused and Bozo is stumped.

Things I almost missed the first time:

✔₁ Our umbrella guy took the bus to work today. (Where exactly does he work?)

✔₂ What is the black fraidy-cat running from? Oh, yeah, the cute little puppy.

✔₃ Who will win the race? Don’t axe me!

1) Washout: Bozo is so flustered at not being able to cross he opens, by hand a fire hydrant to cross.

2) Bottom Ranked: At his job Bozo has been exiled to the sub basement entered via the entrance literally on the street and down under the street amongst the water ways. (Not sewer)

3) Chasing Turkey: Thanksgiving and Bozo needs to kill the turkey then prepare it to be cooked to perfection for the meal. Turkey is too fast and tires out even the mighty Bozo. Those drum sticks will be the meatiest ever. (All that’s missing is the turkey taking the axe to cut off Bozo’s head!)

Strip two, panel #4: That cat on the upper middle-left side being chased by a dog on the upper-right side looks like a similar creature seen in Bill Holman’s SMOKEY STOVER.

I remain surprised that more attention isn’t focused on Holman’s work.
